I learned about the Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope (SHCH) from a former international volunteer who had a great experience. I did online research about HOPE worldwide and SHCH and loved their mission and the work they are doing and want to be a part of it.
It was an incredible experience!!! I enjoyed working with the staff in pathology. I learned so much about medicine and health care in Cambodia, about SHCH, about pathology, and the culture. It was a positive, memorable experience that I will value forever.
“Visit and Help!” is what I want to say to my friends. The staff at SHCH is an inspiration…driven, curious, selfless, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile for those who need it most. It’s practitioners like them that really make us a “global” medical community. My time here was memorable and life changing!
