Volunteer
Volunteering is a noble way to share someone's skills and passions with those who could positively impact others as a riffling effect of their selfless act of service. Volunteering plays an essential part in collectively helping the Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope (SHCH) operations to deliver outstanding health care services in our community irrespective of the patient's capacity to pay.
SHCH invites qualified international volunteers to come and share their experiences to build the capacity of our staff.
Volunteers are welcome in the following areas:

Medical Professionals: Doctors, Nurses, Physician Assistants, Radiologists, Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners.

Public Health: Specific expertise is needed in bio-statistical analysis, epidemiology and health education with low-literacy populations.

Non-medical Professionals: Communications, Marketing, and Human Resources and IT
Requirements for all volunteers:

Willingness to come for at least two (2) weeks/10 days

Ability to self-fund your travel and local housing costs

Competency in mentoring or teaching in a cross-cultural context and low resource setting
Requirements for Medical Volunteers:
1. Mandatory registration with the correlating Cambodian Council to be facilitated by the International Volunteer Coordinator
2. Lecture and training preparation to increase the capacity of the staff

Please note that at the moment, we will not be accepting medical students for rotations, practicum, or other learning experiences except if accompanied by a qualified instructor or preceptor.
